Migliaia di giovani provenienti da tutta Europa e dal Mondo si incontrano ogni anno a Rovereto e in Vallagarina nel week end pasquale, confrontandosi sui campi di gioco e nelle palestre. I valori propri dello sport, il momento di confronto agonistico, il rispetto dell’avversario e delle regole del gioco sono il cuore del Torneo. Ma anche l’incontro, la socializzazione, l‘aggregazione di molti giovani provenienti da nazioni diverse, in un continuo confronto di usi, costumi e tradizioni a volte molto diverse. Il periodo pasquale, i rintocchi di Maria Dolens, la Campana della Pace, inducono i partecipanti a momenti di riflessione su temi quali la pace, la convivenza, il confronto. Il Torneo Città della Pace è una grande festa di sport che coniuga al suo interno messaggi che rappresentano al meglio la vocazione di Rovereto, Città della Pace e dello Sport.

Thousands of young people from all over Europe and the world meet every year in Rovereto and in Vallagarina during the Easter weekend, confronting each other on the playgrounds and in the gyms. The City of Peace Tournament is a great sports festival that combines messages that best represent the vocation of Rovereto, City of Peace and Sport.
